Every musician in town knows that the best stage to play in all of Philadelphia is the WHISKEY TANGO, located at 14000 Bustleton Avenue-Hands down! With state of the art lights and sound and a pro sound engineer, Joe Parent (JNR SOUND) all provided by the Tango-its like stepping onto your own concert tour. Music lovers know it too-no matter what your age-when it comes to hearing, seeing, feeling great music from the best bands around-the Tango is the place to be all summer long! The Whiskey Tango is striving to bring more local “Up & Coming Bands” and some Veteran Bands from the area. Look out for Funk-Soul, Top 40-Party-Classic Rock, and All Original Bands too. The Tango is becoming one of the biggest supporters of original music around. Every Tuesday starting at 8pm you will hear 3-4 bands until the midnight hour! Every Friday night is Original Night, and Saturday nights you will find some of the best local cover bands too.  The Tango brings great National Acts to its stage as well, like Skid Row, Fuel, LA Diamonds and Doro Pesch to name a few. The next National Act is on Saturday, June 18^th with Jimmy Van Zant and four local bands (Chowder, The Young Brothers, 12 Horse and Sinners Saints), for this out of this world live concert/bike night. Featuring artists like Lynard Skynard, 38 Special,Van Zant and more! Word is spreading fast so make sure you get in line for this one! Here are a few summer events planned at the Tango…June 25^th the all new Octane, now called “Xero” will implode on stage. On July 8^th Doc Hollywood will be making their debut. Another big night of music will be on Friday July 22^nd, with original heavy rock bands-Killshot, Rebel Ink, Kennedy Red and Cubane! The following night “Get Your Dance On!” with 2 Big Funk Horn Bands, Smooth Edge and Sounds of Society. In August, some local favorites- Scream and Modern Bliss will return; captivating everyone who hears them! And look out for the “Women of Rock” Night-this will be killer! Of course, the Whiskey Tango is synonymous with great music, but did you also know that they have a Sports Bar too! It’s the best kept secret-with great food and cool drinks, 21 HDTVs, and great specials for every single sporting event.  And the Tango hosts super private parties, benefits, wedding and bachelor/ bachelorette, and graduation parties too!
