ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – October 19, 2012– Trump Taj Mahal presents Lisa Marie Presley in the Xanadu Theater on Saturday, November 10, 2012.  Show time is at 8pm.  Ticket prices are $24 and $19. Tickets can be obtained by either calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-736-1420, on line at

With all the hoopla that has surrounded her, it’s easy to forget that Lisa Marie Presley is at heart a simple Southern girl whose earliest musical memories are of obsessively listening to 45’s in her bedroom at Graceland and of her dad catching her singing into a hairbrush in front of a mirror at the age of three.
The Memphis-born Presley reclaims those roots on her new album Storm & Grace — an Americana-inspired showcase for her songwriting talent and smoldering alto voice. Produced with elegant restraint by 12-time Grammy Award-winner T Bone Burnett, Storm & Grace is a marked departure from Presley’s previous albums, 2003’s gold-certified To Whom It May Concern and 2005’s Now What, which both debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Top 200 chart.
The album’s rootsy golden tone is set immediately with the opening track “Over Me,” with its echoey guitar line, burping bassline, shuffling backbeat, and lyrics that lament a lover who’s replaced her, while the ominous, swampy lead single “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet” and the pedal-steel and mandolin-driven title track sound like they could have been recorded during an impromptu back-porch jam session.
Not wanting to abandon her craft, and after gentle prodding from her new manager Simon Fuller, Presley agreed, in the summer of 2009, to sit down with some new songwriting collaborators, who included three Brits: Sacha Skarbek (who’s written with Adele and Jason Mraz among others), and singer-songwriters Ed Harcourt and Richard Hawley, who is also a member of Pulp. Over an eight-month period, Presley wrote 28 songs including “Storm and Grace” and “How Do You Fly This Plane?” with Hawley; “Un-Break” and “Close To The Edge” with Skarbek; and “Soften The Blows” and “Over Me” with Harcourt.
Taken as a whole, Storm & Grace is an unflinchingly honest piece of work from this songwriter, who, though known for her tough frankness, has managed to create a tender, consoling thread that runs throughout the album. “Weary” may concern a relationship that didn’t work out, but it is suffused with genuine warmth, as Presley sings: “I will always love you/you can move on, dear.”  For Presley, the album’s conciliatory theme grew out of wanting to have peace in her life after a period of turmoil and letting go of what no longer suited her.
Impressed with Presley’s songs, Fuller sent the demos to producer and musician T Bone Burnett, who is known for his work with such artists as Allison Krauss and Robert Plant, B.B. King, Willie Nelson, Elton John and Leon Russell, and scores of others.

The weather was so freakin nice outside, I recently decided to go exploring throughout the Bucks County area (just northeast of Philadelphia), when I came across this really cool looking spot called “Kellen’s Station House”. The building is so neat looking as it stands 3 floors high, with a tropical front patio area and a huge parking lot. You can’t miss this place cause it is located directly across the street from the Septa R3 (Langhorne) train station, hence the name “Kellen’s Station House”.
My small posse of really good friendz, which included Tiffany Martinez, Brittany Dittmar and Ashley Ramiez, all decided to pull in for sum grub, as our stomachs were churning for food and beverages. When you enter “Kellen’s Station House”, you will definitely notice how clean, sharp and organized this establishment is being managed. Turning into the main bar and restaurant areas, I could not miss a large bright and colorful multi refrigerator wall unit filled with over 90 brews in stock. It is like a freakin smorgasbord of highly respected beers and brews.
As we all settled in, I realized that “Kellen’s Station House” just opened its doors on July 19th of 2012. The owner “Rich” took every man’s dream of opening a bar and made it happen with a name he always reserved for a son that he never had, as “Rich” was blessed with 3 amazing daughters. But, the name “Kellen” stayed with him for the past 17 years, so why not name his bar the perfect name of “Kellen’s Station House”. Rich’s vision of a full service tavern with awesome pub food, is now coming to life at 1033 S. Bellevue Avenue in Langhorne, PA.

While searching for a manager to run this outstanding watering hole, “Rich” came across a gentleman by the name of “Bob”, who has a tremendous background in very productive cafes and seductive tasting restaurants. So, the fit was perfect as now “Rich” and “Bob” are working together to take “Kellen’s Station House” to the next level.
The “Kellen’s Station House” has several rooms for all of your drinking, eating and gathering needs, with 6 very spacious areas to enjoy. Including a few very comfortable rooms for dining room, an eye pleasing modern sports bar area, an outside palm tree deck area, not to mention a few private party/catering rooms. I energetically love the hard wood floors, clean sharp seating areas and the wide open entertainment concept. I counted over 20 flat screen televisions showing several different sports venues, over 10 beers on tap and like I mentioned earlier over 90 brews in stock.
Our server (“Nathan”) greeted us with a pleasant smile, handed me our easy to read menus and then proceed to inform my posse of a few signature libations. How can you go wrong with tantalizing beverages like a “Chocolate Martini”, an “Appletini” or even a coffee infused vodka or bourbon cocktail? I ultimately love when an established tavern has a good selection of cocktails and “Kellen’s Station House” is no exception with a fine list of liquid goodies. Our very attractive mixologist for this evening was “Stephanie” and she was holding it down with a full bar of customers.

While reading over the menu, I decided to try a few “Kellen’s Station House” classic selections, like starting out with “Grandma’s Famous Doltana”, it’s a secret family recipe of Italian meats and cheeses stuffed in a homemade dough. I thoroughly enjoyed this start to our meal cause my taste buds were dancing with a perfect blend of Italian spices, cheeses and meats. In fact this was so of da hook, I took a few slices home and ate it cold the next day for breakfast. OMG, it was simply astonishing also as a breakfast wake up meal.
I was really feeling kinda hungry this evening, so I decided to order a few tantalizing items off of the “Kellen’s Station House” menu. When you go, please order one of the following items that I had the complete pleasure of tasting, such as the “Station House Wings” (naked, mild, hot or BBQ), they are so meaty, so tender, so scrumptious and packed with flavor. In fact, the sauce they use is an award winning special recipe. I tried to bribe “Bob” for the ingredients, but I was tastefully denied ;-}
As the food keeps rolling out of the kitchen, my job keeps getting better and better. Next up was the “Fried Pickles With Horseradish Mustard”, as they are purchased fresh daily then treated with a light blend of “Kellen’s” batter and fried to perfection with a side of a custom horseradish mustard dipping sauce. I have not had such magnificent fried pickles since I was in Texas a few years ago. I highly recommend them as an appetizer or even as a bar nibbler.

Taking my appetite a little further, I just had to try the “8 Ounce Prime Beef Station House Burger”, all I need to tell yea is it was 8 ounces of fresh prime beef cooked to perfection, with your choice of American, Swiss, cheddar or blue cheese, bacon, mushrooms, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato all served on a fresh toasted bun. Not to mention a healthy side of homemade “Kellen’s Station House” fries that are cut fresh every single day. Also available are “Kellen’s Parm & Garlic Homemade Fries”, “Kellen’s Cheesy Homemade Fries” and “Kellen’s Homemade Chili Fries”.
A few of my other “Kellen’s Station House” favorites is the “Meatloaf”, wrapped with bacon while being served with Kellen’s delectable mac & cheese. If you like chicken parmesan, then you must try the “Kellen’s Chicken Parm”, served with choice of pasta with a pleasing sweet red sauce. The “Shrimp In A Basket”, was like a fresh taste of the sea, fried up with a crunchy batter, served by the dozen with a side Kellen’s homemade fries. The menu is endless with very reasonably priced items from appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, specialty sandwiches, platters and sides.

I have to give all my culinary respect to the head chef “Chef James”, as he transforms a delightful pub menu into a mouthwatering palatable experience. Everything I had the fortunate opportunity to consume was so freakin good and delightful. I also don’t wanna forget “Joe”, who is “Kellen’s Station House’s” food catering consultant, what a great job gentlemen. The fine staff here has done their food dining local research and came up with an amazing menu with a totally pocket warming price point on every item they offer.
Weekly specials at “Kellen’s Station House” include, Sunday’s (Kid’s Eat Free, chef’s kids special of the day), Monday’s (.50 Cent Wings 4pm – 8pm), Tuesday’s (Buy 1 Get 1 Half Price Appetizers), Wednesday’s ($2 House Special Appetizer), Thursday’s (NFL Coors Light Specials), Friday’s (House Special Complimentary Appetizers 4pm – 8pm), Saturday’s (College Football 12pm – 4pm, $30 Domestic Draft Beer & A Carver Sandwich, A Burger Or Wings Included, $40 Gets You Bottles), Sunday’s (NFL Football 12pm – 4pm, $30 Domestic Draft Beer & A Carver Sandwich, A Burger Or Wings Included, $40 Gets You Bottles) and Early Bird Specials (Every Monday thru Friday, 3:30pm – 6:00pm, 15% Off Menu).
Weekly events at “Kellen’s Station House” include, Tuesday Night’s (Quizzo Trivia Night, Sponsored By Jagermeister With Valuable Give-A-Ways) and Wednesday Night’s (Bucks County Open Mic Night Hosted By Dan Taylor).
“Kellen’s Station House” has a few special events coming up in November that you definitely don’t wanna miss, November 10, 2012 (Michael Marrow Band/Jerry Garcia Tribute Live On Stage With The Groove Train Riders), November 21, 2012 (Huge Pre Thanksgiving DJ Dance Party) and on November 24, 2012 (Seductive Saturday With Raised On Radio/Journey Tribute Live On Stage Along With A Non Stop Insane DJ Dance Music Party, You Don’t Wanna Miss This Cause “Roundhouse Ron” Will Be Here). Both events will have several impressive drink and food specials.
If you are planning your own special event/party, “Kellen’s Station House” is a premiere location with spectacular package deals for “Christmas Parties”, “Office/Work Parties”, “Sweet 16 Parties”, “Beef & Beer Benefits”, “Funeral Luncheons” and also “Fantasy Football Parties”. To take advantage of these magnificent deals, get in contact with my boyz either “Rich” or “Bob” at 215.970.5412.
My small posse of amazing friends and myself completely enjoyed our “Kellen’s” foodie experience, they are still talking about this amazing place and can’t wait to read my article here in “Out On the Town” entertainment paper. Don’t be surprised if you see me here on many occasions, because I will be returning to relish in this amazing atmosphere. In fact, don’t hesitate, as soon as you can, please take a short drive over to “Kellen’s Station House”, for a few cocktails and a great meal. When you go, make sure you tell them your boy “Roundhouse Ron” sent you ;-}

Get to know Joe Q’s & A’s

Having come from the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Region, which is known for its cover band scene, who & what type of music lead you to where you are now?

The Philly Cover Scene has been my career and passion for over a decade now.  I have played 200+ shows per year for the last 10+ years.  I’ve covered every genre of music from metal to country to hip/hop to ShowTunes to Disney songs to Celtic.  The scene has certainly helped me evolve into the entertainer I am today.

When and why did you start playing Music?

Music is all I’ve ever known and loved.  When I was (3) years old, the first gift I begged my parents for was the 4 KISS dolls.  My room was covered with Gene Simmons posters in blood at the age of 3!

Which famous musicians do you admire? Why?

I have Bob Marley, Bono and John Lennon all tattooed on me.  I believe so much in the idea of “one love.”  The idea that we can all treat one another as equals regardless of race, social status, religion, or gender.  I admire all 3 of them for their undeniable passion for music, life, and love.

Who are your favorite musicians? Groups?  CD’s? Music you must always have on your iphone , Ipad Mp3 player?

Musicians/Bands I could NOT live without would be:  Zac Brown Band, Lee Brice, U2, Counting Crows, Garth Brooks, Florida Georgia Line, Dan Adams, Willie Nelson, Bob Marley, The Beatles, and Lionel Richie!

What are your fondest musical memories onstage or off?

On May 1, 2011 I was playing in Key West for the Key West Songwriter’s Festival.  That afternoon, I was playing on the beach with my dear friend, Cliff Cody.  We played one of Cliff’s songs that is on my album called, “Back Home.”  We got to play for a couple hundred of our Armed Forces.  You could hear a pin drop on the beach.  It was surreal.  We invited the troops back to my show that night at Sloppy Joes.  Shortly before my show started, one of the members of the US Air Force approached me onstage and said, “Please make an announcement, we just killed Osama Bin Laden.”  I made the announcement in front of 600+ people in attendance.  We brought members of our Armed Forces onstage with us as the held the US Flag and we sang with them.  It was a moment I will NEVER forget.   30 days later, when I arrived home off my tour/shows, there was a package in my mailbox.  It was a US Flag and a plaque.  It was presented to me by the US Navy that was watching my show that night online LIVE from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.  They flew a flag over GTMO for 9 minutes and 11 seconds and presented it to me as a token of their appreciation for my patriotism.  It is truly my MOST prized possession I own.

How many members are in your current touring band? Names?

I have a HUGE band!   8 members, a Tour Manager, a Sound Engineer, and a Merch Girl!  We need a bigger bus already!

Stephen Turner- Lead Guitar

Chris “Oz” Ferrara- Acoustic Guitar/Vocals

Stephen Rose- Acoustic Guitar/Vocals

Kyle Campbell- Rhythm Guitar/Vocals

Brian Walsh- Keyboards/Fiddle/Vocals

Garret Watts- Bass Guitar

Jared Lerew- Drums/Percussion

Kevin “Sully” Sullivan- Tour Manager

How often and for how long do you & your Band practice?

“Practice” the way I used to know it in the Philly Cover scene no longer exists.   Now, we practice for Tours/Shows.  When we schedule a tour… or a series of shows, I will write a set list and we’ll go into rehearsal for apps 4-5 hours per day for the week leading up to the tour.

Your debut album “ONE” has a lil’ of everything from the modern country- rock vibe to that classic down home feel.  Was your intention to have songs that appeal to fans of all ages and musical tastes?

YES. 100%.  Because that’s who I am!  When I sat down with my Producer, Arlis Albritton in May of 2011, I said…  When I play shows, I try to take people on a roller coaster rise.  I want to make them party, I want to make them think, I want to make them cry, and then I want to make them leave the show wanting more.  That’s the album I tried to make.  It was really important to me that I was able to show the different sides of who I am.  That part is difficult because I am certainly not your typical “ballad” vocalist!  But, when you see me sing my songs LIVE…  I promise to make you feel what I feel!

“Small Town Rock stars” is the current single on country radio across the United States, and also is a very cool “party anthem” video. Ya’ll have to check it out! Where was the video Shot and Produced? Tell us about the theme and vibe of the Video?

I shot the video at BLARNEY ISLAND in Antioch, IL.  (50 miles North of Chicago).  When I met with my Director (John Fucile of SmackDab Media)… I said,  “I need the video to be sexy and fun.”  I knew the song was a bit tongue-in-cheek, so I wanted to make sure the video did not come across as cheesy.  I’m so happy with the way it turned out.  In less than 3 minutes, it takes you on a journey of what one of our “days of our shows” is like!   We get to the venue, party with the people, and it starts out fun and low-key… but by the end of the night, it’s an absolute PARTY!

If you had to pick one song off your current Album “ONE” that means the most or touches your heart or says what you’re about which would it be?

WOW.  That’s a loaded question for me.  Every song TRULY means something to me.  I’m going to go with “Tired Of Running.”  Track #8.  It’s a very personal song for me.  It has several meanings to me.  I’m going to keep them to myself.  I tattooed the title of the song on me… along with “a bunch of airplane bottles in a paper sack.”

When down in Nashville or NashVegas as some call it, Who do you Collaborate With?  Do you have any song writing influences or mentors in Music city?

The more you write with people, the more comfortable it gets.  I write a lot with Jay Brunswick (Better Angels Publishing), Dan Adams, and Mitch Rossell.  All 3 of them are close friends of mine and they happen to be some of the best writers in town in my humble opinion.  I’ve written with Jett Beres  (Sister Hazel), Arlis Albritton (Grammy Nominated Writer/Producer for Jamey Johnson), Brian Davis (currently on tour with Brantley Gilbert), and many others.  I have been so fortunate to have friends that enjoy writing with me and vice/versa.

Yes you can name drop here. Who have you met whether it be Musically related or otherwise that has influenced you, gave you inspirational advice or just plan had you star struck while you made the journey to the musician you are today?

I’ve honestly met most of the stars by now.  The one guy that continues to be a mentor of mine… and idol of mine… and most importantly, a friend of mine is Lee Brice.  Lee has it all.  He has the STRONG, POWERFUL, AMAZING voice.  He is an incredible writer.  He is an amazing performer.  He can sing “Love Like Crazy” and make the entire venue cry… and 30 seconds later, he can make everyone crack open a beer and have you screaming, “Parking Lot Party.”   He is the EXACT type of artist I want to be.  We write very different styles, but we share so much in common as artists.  In addition to Lee… Jason Aldean and his band have been amazing mentors to me.  They have pushed me to take this thing as far as I can.  I text with Rich Redmond (Jason’s Drummer) 2-3 times per week.  Just amazing people.   Lastly, one of my VERY best friends is Tyler Hubbard.  Tyler is one of the lead singers of Florida Georgia Line.  We talk almost every day.  He’s my brother.  We have an incredible bond and respect for one another.

What advice would you give to beginners who are trying to break into the music scene?

I know this is cliché, but “JUST DO IT.”  That’s the honest truth.  Chesney gave me that advice 4 years ago and it’s some of the best i ever got.   If you want it that bad, then just do it.  Don’t make excuses why you can’t… just make it happen!

After Promoting your Current CD “ONE” across the U.S. on your current  Radio tour do you and the band plan on going back in the studio to record more music?

OH HELL YES!  We’ve already started!  I’ve been writing NON-STOP.  I wrote 14 songs in the last 5 months out in Nashville…. which is a ton with my crazy touring and press/radio schedule.   My band has been amazing going into the studio and cutting their parts while I’m out on the road promoting the album.  In addition, my life-long manager, Frank Annunziata has been Producing some of my most recent songs and we’ve had a blast working together on that level!

Joe Bachman tell the fans how & where to get your music , your  tour dates, and how we can all come enjoy your ride to the top on your awesome musical journey as you head towards the stars towards bigger and brighter things.

First and foremost,   That will direct you to my Facebook, Twitter, YouTube Pages, Videos, Songs, Tour Dates, etc.    In addition, please download my FREE App if you have an iPhone, iPad, or Droid.  Just search my name in your store.  It’s free and it’s a really cool app!

Being a huge country fan & performer myself its been a privilege Having Known Joe Bachman and his band members for a few years and watching them all work hard night after night playing their hearts out in all the clubs and music venues  for all of us music fans . Im Proud they represent our music community and look forward to seeing them perform and the new music they will bring.

564714_3985974091671_1691240409_nSince 1994, there has been one band consistently rocking the Philly Cover band scene and that band is Steamroller Picnic!

I spoke to Lead singer, Judge DeFazio and asked him what their shows are like and he explained, “We usually play 3 sets of popular, high energy music that appeals to each person in the room at some point. We like to get the crowd involved. Whether it be a Birthday girl, bachelorette party, or guys that want to rock with us.”

No matter where this band plays, whether it be a big club or local bar, this band gives it their all.  They will rock the place from the first note to the last and people are always very entertained, that’s a fact. What makes this band different is their commitment to what they are doing and the chemistry of the current line-up.  There have been quite a few members in and out of the band over the years, but Judge told me, “the four of us just seem to be able to read each other’s minds. This makes for a truly unique performance each and every time we play.”

Steamroller Picnic can ignite any party or venue with the vast list of genres in which they play.  They play songs from Usher and Cee-Lo to Rage Against The Machine and Metallica and will keep the party going all night long.  All members of the band have strong backgrounds in music and have been playing in many bands and side projects over the years.

You can see the band playing all over the area and quite a bit in Atlantic City including The Borgata, Showboat, Bally’s, Golden Nugget, The Hilton and Tropicana – just to name a few.  When not in AC, they play in several other bars and clubs in the Philly area.

The guys in the band also dabble in their own original side projects.  For instance Judge explained, “Bones is currently in the band  “The Endless March”. The competition was created by 93.3 WMMR to pick 6 person band comprised of the best musicians from the Philly region. They played Susquehanna Bank Center for the MMRBQ w/ Shinedown & Godsmack this past summer. And are playing Sold Out show at TLA on Halloween!”

It’s good to know that Steamroller Picnic is still out there doing their thing.  They still rock each and every place they play, and they are better than ever!  If you want to go see them live, here is their current schedule:  11/2: Dover Downs Fire & Ice – Dover, DE; 11/3: RiRa’s Irish Pub – Atlantic City, NJ; 11/8: The Social @ Revel – Atlantic City, NJ; 11/17: Cap’ns Corner – Woodbury, NJ; 11/24: PC Pub – Pennsburg, PA;11/30: Top Dog – Cherry Hill; NJ, 12/1: Borgata’s Gypsy Bar – Atlantic City, NJ; 12/8: SugarHouse Refinery Bar – Philadelphia, PA; 12/22: Cap’ns Corner – Woodbury, NJ; 12/29: Top Dog; 12/31: The Piazza @ Schmidt’s – Philly.

If you are interested in booking the band, please contact Shore Bets at 215-884-4357. You can also check them outr online at!
